Welcome to our ICBRKR Extraordinaires Series, where every two weeks, we highlight one extraordinary ICBRKR. Our community is our backbone, and we’re proud to be BRKing the mold with such a passionate and engaging group of people. ⚡️

This week, we introduce you to one kickass lady, Head of Business Development at Fluidity/AirSwap, Maggie Hsu. A graduate of Exeter, Harvard and Harvard Business School, Maggie has explored and conquered different roles, industries, and independent projects with extraordinary grace and skill. Get to know this Art Aficionado, Fellow Foodie and Urban Explorer below and connect with her in the ICBRKR app.

From Zappos to AirSwap, Exeter to Harvard, can you tell us more about what you do, and how you are an Extraordinaire in your community?

I work at a blockchain startup called Fluidity (AirSwap) that provides technology for people to tokenize and trade different cryptoassets. We recently announced a partnership to tokenize a $30M condo in New York City that will be sold by Ryan Serhant from Million Dollar Listing. Prior to that, I was Chief of Staff to the CEO at Zappos, working on special projects. I also co-founded Mochi Magazine, a nonprofit online magazine and blog for young Asian American women. I went to Harvard College and Harvard Business School.

Impressive! What are your favorite hobbies? We heard you are a wine connoisseur...

I love exploring new cities and eating great food. During business school, I interned at Veuve Clicquot Champagne (LVMH) and enjoy learning about different types of champagnes and sparkling wines from around the world.

What do you love most about ICBRKR?

I've always enjoyed connecting other people, whether in a professional or personal capacity. I've been a romantic matchmaker for many years and have organized several dating events such as speed dating and cocktail parties. ICBRKR is the perfect way to bring that network together. ICBRKR allows you to look at events by city and type of event, and to meet other people with similar interests.

Yes! Last but not least, what is your guilty pleasure?

Shake Shack.

Amazing, thanks for giving us a glimpse into what makes you an Extraordinaire, Maggie! Good luck with all the exciting things you’re working on, and see you at an upcoming ICBRKR event soon!
