ICBRKR FOMO MOMENTS: ICBRKR'S ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY AT ART BASEL

What a difference a year makes… This time last year, we had just launched ICBRKR, with the dream of creating a special community of extraordinary people who share the same zest for life as us. A year in, we couldn’t be more honored to be celebrating our birthday at Art Basel with some of the most inspiring artists, musicians, and humans around.
Here are the highlights from our One-Year Anniversary at Art Basel, a.k.a. PARTY LIKE YOU MEAN IT WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS. Behold, it was an afternoon to remember!
1. Welcome to the ICBRKR Beach Club
Creating the perfect setting for our birthday was the first step in having a successful party. To that end, we set up the ICBRKR Beach Club at the Shore Club South Beach Hotel in Miami. Slightly tucked away between some palm trees, and with a gorgeous private pool, the ICBRKR Beach Club was ready to be transformed…
2. The Spirit Sisters worked their magic

We handed over the production of the event to the inimitable Spirit Sisters. They turned the Beach Club into a provocative jungle garden with bouncing balls, bubble machines, and models strutting and dancing everywhere, including a giant, floating pool bubble, where one of our guests dared to venture... Last but not least, their “Fishbowl” installation, peppered throughout the space and featuring outdated cell phones hanging from the trees, made us rethink our addiction to technology.
Read the Spirit Sisters’ ICBRKR Extraordinaires feature to find out more about this installation. You can also connect with them in the ICBRKR app for fashion advice, purchase their art prints, or get your hands on Brandi’s leather harness as worn by Jocelyn, co-founder of ICBRKR, at the event.
3. Our DJs kept us dancing all afternoon
Behind the turntables under the shining sun, we had the talented and gorgeous Gaby Endo, the eclectic Brett Love, and Brooklyn sensation, alexander:louis. Their music got everyone dancing past sunset, and nobody wanted to leave… least of all us.
4. Some special guests stopped by
Our party attracted several tastemakers from different industries, including DJs Lee Foss and Brendan Fallis, model Ashley Hart, TimeOut contributor Ryan P, and even actor Cuba Gooding Jr., who stopped by after hearing our music from next door! Special thanks to Paris Hilton for promoting our event with the Spirit Sisters on Instagram.
5. Our sponsors helped us offer a delicious open bar to our guests
A good party comes with free goodies and good vibes. Our party wouldn’t have been the same without the support of Coco Sky, who provided their delicious coconut crème liqueur, and Rise Brewing Co, who helped give us our caffeine fix. Our open bar kept our guests satisfied throughout the afternoon, with our signature cocktails: Miami Mint, and Miami Fancy.
We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our one year in business. Thanks to everyone for making it so special. We can’t wait to create more unforgettable moments with our wonderful ICBRKR community around the world!
