TAROT HOROSCOPES — JUNE 2020
From Aries to Pisces, get your Taroscope every month by The Wellness Foundry's Fiongal Greenlaw.
The full moon in Sagittarius on June 5th in combination with the planet Venus in retrograde might leave you emotionally frustrated, especially any limitations you feel in life and love. Sagittarius yearns for the freedom to move around and have adventures, but with the current world situation, this isn't always possible this month.
Thankfully, Venus turns direct on June 25th, so you will finally be able to address romantic situations that have been out of whack for a while. In addition, Mars enters its exalted sign of Aries on June 27th, meaning these feelings of frustration and stuck-ness will be lifted.
Knight of Swords, VI of Wands, Wheel of Fortune
This month you’ll be infused with a need to strive forward and prove yourself, as indicated in the Knight of Swords. And although the success of the Six of Wands can be yours – something you fiery rams love – make sure that you’re not making it the be-all and end-all. As the saying goes Aries, “What goes up, must coming down,” just like the Wheel of Fortune. So, yes, this is a month of activity and achievement but don’t assume you’ve got it in the bag before everything is signed, sealed and delivered. Only once it is, then you can celebrate.
The Lovers, IV of Wands, VI of Cups
All I can say for you Taurians this month is "lucky you;" the cards aspect a high sense of satisfaction and gratification, particularly in domestic affairs. This is expressed with the Four of Wands and Six of Cups, the homeliest cards in the whole deck. It is true what they say “A man’s home is his castle,” (gender biases notwithstanding). Of course, many of us have had to stay at home more than usual recently. So, make your place a palace – luxuriate (something Taurus does well) in sprucing up the house and making everything ‘just so.’
Home – “Home is where the heart is” 9/10
King of Pentacles, VIII of Pentacles, VI of Cups
In the words of Britney, “You better work b*tch” or if you prefer Rihanna, “So me put in work, work, work, work, work, work.” Yep, you guessed it, this month is all about getting your shit done. The King of Pentacles and Eight of Pentacles speak of effort, application, and nose to the grindstone. Still, it’s not all in vain, for they readily see the fruits of their labour. Fortunately, the Six of Cups reminds us not to take ourselves and our situation seriously. Take time to smell the roses and spend some time with your family, especially those who are younger than you.
Love – Work on your self-love 4/10
Work – Fo’ shizzle 10/10
Queen of Swords, Page of Wands, Ace Wands
So, my dear Cancerians, I’ll start with the good news: this month is a perfect chance for new growth, enthusiasm and projects, as expressed with the Ace of Wands and the Page of Wands. Now for the bad news, this renewed sense of zeal is going to likely be frustrated by your ambivalence! Do not dilly-dally this month. If you spend too much time figuring something out or checking that it’s ‘just right,’ you’ll have missed the window of opportunity. Note the Queen of Swords at your back, barking “Just get the f**k on with it.”
Love – either a 2/10 or an 8/10. Your choice.
Work – either a 2/10 or an 8/10. Your choice!
Home – Yep, that’s right: either a 2/10 or an 8/10. Your choice!
King of Swords, The Sun, The Empress
This will prove to be a wonderfully abundant and creative month, dear Lions. The appearance of The Sun card could not be more welcome, for this celestial being is exalted in the sign of Leo. So, over the next thirty days, be as expressive and active as possible, especially as your creative side is going to be on fleek. And the King of Swords assures you that you’ll be able to channel the ideas that will flow freely and easily; this is not the time to be holding back or for introspection.
Love – eek 3/10
Work – boom 9/10
Home – 7/10
Ace of Swords, III of Swords, The Hermit
Stop worrying! This is your mantra this month. It’s funny, as I was shuffling the cards for Virgo’s reveal, I thought, "I bet The Hermit shows up," and here he is. The Hermit is the Tarot card that represents Virgo, so in some ways, it reinforces your highest aspects: pragmatism, patience, and reliability. Indeed, with the appearance of the Ace of Swords, this is a time to embrace clear decisions and forthrightness. However, if this mental determination is left unchecked, it could get you into all sorts of troubles – rumination and fretfulness being the main culprits.
Love – 4/10
Work – 8/10
Home – 7½/10
VII of Cups, The World, Queen of Pentacles
The 7 of Cups in the Tarot is often the card of confusion, and represents the overwhelm of choice and decisions. This would be bad enough, but coupled with the fact that this is Libra, the star sign than loves order and balance, it makes it even worse! Never fear: the promise of stability and harmony is promised to you this month, as seen with The World card and Queen of Pentacles. But to get there, you’re just going to have to get your hands dirty and not shy away from making those tough judgement calls.
Love – 8/10
Work – 8/10
Libra – 8/10
The Knight of Swords, The Empress, Justice
One of the many things a Scorpio could never be accused of is being one-dimensional! You will likely find your ambition and drive to succeed alighted this month, and good luck to those foolish enough to get in your way! The Knight of Swords reminds us of the sting in your tails! But your motives might not be clear, even to yourself, so double-check that you’re not striving for the best for the sake of power and acclaim! Have a look at your intentions in June and make sure that they really are as well-meaning as you think they are.
Love – 6/10
Work – 8½/10
Home – 5/10
The VI of Swords, The VIII of Pentacles, III of Swords
I’m gonna give you a big hug this month Sagittarius, for you’re likely to get into emotionally troubled waters, as shown with the 6 and 3 of Swords. And it’s unlikely to be any of your own doing, but rather circumstance and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The advice here is to keep your head down and chin up! The 8 of Pentacles suggests getting lost in your work and turning your back on any problematic situation. But a word of warning – this is only a short-term fix, make sure distraction doesn’t turn into procrastination.
Love – 6/10
Work – 2/10
Home – 8/10
King of Pentacles, Knight of Swords, The Empress
This month will certainly show the fruits of your labour, beloved Capricorns, and if anyone knows about hard work, it’s you Earthly goats. The Empress and The King of Pentacles are some of the most abundant cards within the deck. Just make sure that you’re not pushing forward at the sake of your physical and mental health; be sure to take care of yourself along the way. As a Capricorn, you can sometimes feel as though you have a lot to prove, but this month, go easy on yourself.
Love – you randy ol’ goat! 11/10
Work – 5/10 (could go either way this month)
Home – 5/10
The Devil, Queen of Wands, VIII of Pentacles
Sorry, Aquarius – this might not be the magical month you might have hoped for! Instead, you’ll find yourself mired in obligations, hard work, and application. Hardly sexy, but entirely necessary. Therefore, attack each task with diligence and composure – no one likes a Moaning Myrtle – and good progress can be yours. The big dreams might have to wait till July, June is about getting the shit done.
Love – 9/10
Work – Lots to do! 1/10 or 10/10 depending on how you look at it…
Home – 5/10
The Empress, IV of Swords, Temperance
Time for a deep breath, dear fish! This is a month for relaxation, to take your repose and find some silence; not a time of extremes or charging ahead. The 4 of Swords and Temperance encourage you to meditate, rest, and gently reflect on what it is you want to manifest for the future. So, unlike the other zodiacal houses this month, this is not a time of action, but to be passive and receive.
Love – Fire up your loins 8/10
Work – Vision board 10/10
Home – 10/10
